Here are the two 3D scenes I made for the 3D assignment.
The first one is an adaption of the house from the movie UP. It shows the house being pulled by a massive amount of balloons in the sky, among the clouds. The mapped object is the moon that I put in the corner, I made a sphere via rotation and mapped a moon surface texture on it. And since it stood out of the picture (in a bad way) I lowered the opacity so that it would be a bit lower key.
The second scene I did was a fast food restaurant promotion where I made two 3D burgers along with 3D fries. I decided to make the background a typical, colourful looking one that you would see anywhere. The words are extruded to create a typical eye-popping effect. The mapping on this was done on the fries box with the name "Big Kahuna Burger", a reference to Pulp Fiction.
